This assignment was for us to show difference in weight and timing. I made a ping pong ball and a bowling ball.

AM Open House

Me and the family went to the Animation Mentor studio open house yesterday. It was really nice to get to talk to some of the employees of my school. Sadly there weren't any mentors to chat with. Bobby Beck was there but as usual he was mobbed by people and I didn't want to be apart of the desperate crowd. We had a lot of fun and not surprising that my Family got the attention from all the camera's

Excited pose

just my sketches and 3d pose for the excited character assignment. I think it turned out well.

Funny story though i got this pose by accident. I was acctually posing him in a 1 hand handstand pose but didn't like it then just rotated his whole body 180 so he was upright and in the air. I just had to do some minor tweeks. Happy accident.

These last couple of weeks have been really busy but we are finally all packed up and ready to move. I have had to crunch my assignments together from this week and next week since i will be with out internet for a few days this weekend.

I have been doing thumbnails this week. from life and from tv. Its going ok but drawing isn't my thing.

I think I like the pose in the bottom left of the last page. I think i will continue to explore other poses as well.

first Q&A

Had the first Q&A last night. It was really nice to get to hear from everyone. We have a small class, only 8 members which i think will be beneficial. Alison is very nice and encouraging. I even made a few people lol with my "wife gave birth to a tornado comment."

I think it is going to be a positive class and I am gonna learn a lot from my mentor and classmates.
